CODET Sponsors Golf Tournament to Support Tijuana Nonprofits
CODET Vision Institute recently sponsored a golf tournament to support several important nonprofits in Tijuana.
The Club de Empresarios BC held its first golf tournament on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Club Campestre Tijuana. CODET was a proud sponsor of this event which supported the nonprofit organization in the city.
The day began at 8:30 am when participants opened the 18-hole competition. 150 participants represented some of the biggest names in the Tijuana business community.
Proceeds from the golf tournament benefitted four important nonprofit organizations that are making key impacts in the community. Eighteen sponsors contributed to the event to support these organizations.
The nonprofit organizations that were benefited include:
- Fundación Castro Limón, a medical center that provides free health care to children with cancer.
- Pasitos Centro Pedagogico, a place where kids with autism can learn and interact.
- Fundación +Luz, an organization, founded by Dr. Arturo Chayet, provides ophthalmology services to people with low incomes.
